Grilled Brie

Brie, the best melted cheese in the world, made even better grilled on your Crown Verity grill.

1 wheel double cream Brie cheese

1/4 cup butter, melted

Olive oil, for grilling

Salt and pepper

1/4 cup fresh or macerated cherries, pitted and halved

3 tablespoons honey

1/2 baguette, sliced on the bias

  1. Place a piece of aluminum foil on the rack of one side of your grill and preheat the other half to high heat.

  2. Lightly brush the whole wheel of Brie with a little olive oil (to prevent sticking) then place the Brie over the aluminum lined side of the grill (aka the side that is not turned on), close the lid, and allow the Brie to grill for two minutes.

  3. Using a large, thin metal spatula, carefully flip the Brie over and continue to grill until light char marks appear and the cheese is soft but you are still able to lift it. Remove the Brie from the grill.

  4. Toss the baguette slices with butter and seasoning and grill on the heated side of the grill for 1 minute.

  1. Place Brie on a platter and top with remaining cherries and drizzle with honey.

  2. Serve with the grilled baguette slices. Also delicious topped with walnuts and served with sliced apple and pear.
